(Click to go to the next section)
This is, however, a highly subjective guide; there are no hard and fast rules here; instead, I’m providing my own personal experiences with the game and my thoughts on it.
Everyone’s experience will be different, therefore there isn’t really a right or wrong method to utilize any PUBG weapon.
It’s obviously not a comprehensive statistical reference, but I’ve included some key figures to help illustrate my thesis.
The goal is to provide useful PUBG weapon suggestions while also keeping readers, players, and streams entertained.
So, if you have any recommendations or interesting observations, please share them in the comments section.

Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon
The Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon are the most balanced of all the weapons in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, mainly because of it’s capabilities to be used over almost any range.
Most of their statistics fall between the Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers. and the SMG’s. Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon are best used over medium ranges and has damage ratings lower than snipers, but higher than SMG’s.
They’re the greatest main weapons you can have in any loadout if you want to bring home the Chicken Dinner!
Here are my PUBG Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon guide:
AKM
The AKM assault rifle is undoubtedly the finest weapon to use straight out of the box, which means it’s great even if you don’t have any attachments.
It has a typical bullet capacity of 30 rounds and employs 7.62mm ammunition, which can cause a lot of damage when used appropriately. The muzzle, sights, and magazines are the only attachment points on the AKM.
The single shot and auto fire modes are also available in PUBG’s AKM for usage in battle.
Good
- Except for the Groza, this is the most powerful assault weapon in PUBG (which only comes in the airdrops).
- Right out of the box, the AKM is the ideal weapon to use.
- The single shot firing is best at medium-long ranges.
It causes more damage per shot than its contemporaries that utilize 5.56mm ammunition since it is the most powerful assault rifle, equaling the Groza with 48 damage points.
The single shot firing mode is the ideal way to fire the AKM across medium to long range. It has a good bullet speed, so you can simply mount a 4x scope to take out targets at a distance.
Bad
- The AKM has much more recoil compared to the other Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
- Because of its sluggish rate of fire, it is not the greatest weapon for clearing out structures.
Because greater power comes with more recoil, and the AKM has enough, it’s recommended to use it in automatic mode with a Red Dot or 2x scope to keep it under control.
Another disadvantage of the AKM is that it has the longest interval between shots, making it unsuitable for clearing out structures.
It’s possible that the other person will out-shoot you with a bullet, and this does happen.
Attachments to AKM
Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.

M16A4
In the real world, the M16A4 is a highly popular gun that has been employed by numerous military teams for a long time.
It can hold 30 rounds of 5.56mm ammo in its bullet capacity. This weapon, like the AKM, only has three attachment points.
The muzzle is at the front, the sights are on top, and the magazines are extended or quickdraw. Only a single shot and burst fire mode are available in the PUBG M16A4 variant, with three rounds each burst.
You might think that the burst mode is useless, but you will definitely change your mind once you mastered it. The M16A4 has the fastest firing rate of all the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon and at close range, that 3 bullet burst shots can save your round.
Good
- In PUBG, the M16A4 has the quickest bullet speed of any assault weapon.
- It has the best long range stability or lowest recoil of all PUBG Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
- You could easily use it with a 6x scope to take down long-range foes, but that is no longer the case.
The initial bullet speed and duration between rounds are the strongest features of this rifle, making it ideal for long-range targets.
It features the shortest delay between shots of any AR, making it ideal for close-range fighting in burst fire mode.
Bad
- Although the burst mode is excellent, there is no automated mode.
- The M16A4 has the fastest rate of fire, but it takes four clicks to achieve its full capacity in burst mode.
Although it has superior range, bullet speed, and shooting rate, it only falls short of a standard sniper in terms of damage.
To defeat your opponent, you’ll need to strike them many times from a vast distance.

M416
The M416 is viewd as the ultimate tactical rifle of all the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon, because it has the most modifications and customizations.
It uses 5.56mm ammo and has a standard magazine of 30 rounds, much like the other ARs.
As I previously said, this weapon comes with all of the attachments, and obtaining them all may need some looting. It requires a total of 5 attachments, beginning with the muzzle, then the sights, the lower rail, the stock, and the magazine attachments.
The PUBG M416 comes with 2 firing modes, single and automatic modes. It is an awesome weapon to play with and has the highest damage per second rating of all the PUBG Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
Good
- The M416 has the highest damage per second of all Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
- It’s an excellent all-around weapon.
- The only assault weapon with five attachment slots, and the most adaptable assault rifle.
Given the M416’s bullet speed and time between shots, it has the highest damage per second of all the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon that you can loot on the map.
It’s only beaten by the powerful Groza, which is only available in care packages.
It’s a well-balanced weapon, with high damage, close, mid, and long range capabilities, and mods that may make it even more enjoyable to use.
Bad
- You don’t really stand out in anything.
- The M416 assault rifle is fantastic, but finding all of the attachments might take some effort.
All of this is fantastic, but it might be difficult to locate in any structure. It is more likely to spawn in the most hazardous areas of the map, which are more likely to be crowded with enemies.
So be cautious.

Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.
Magazines – Quickdraw, Extended, and Extended Quickdraw

Tactical Stock is a kind of stock that is used for tactical purposes.
SCAR-L
The SCAR-L is regarded as the greatest PUBG assault weapon by the majority of gamers, gaming websites, and YouTubers.
What makes it so excellent is that it offers the greatest stability and regulated recoil, allowing you to be a little more trigger happy.
It can also hold 30 rounds of 5.56mm ammo, which is the most common AR ammunition.
The SCAR-L has four attachment points, so if you locate all of the modifications, it can be nicely modded. The muzzle is in front, the sights are on top, and there are lower rail attachments and magazine options.
There are also single and automated fire modes, both of which are a lot of fun to use.
Good
- Whether you can locate all of the attachments or not, the SCAR-L is a fantastic weapon.
- It features the least amount of recoil of any PUBG AR weapon, making it simpler to operate in auto shooting mode.
- Some scopes, such as the 2x, 3x, and 4x, may even be used in auto mode.
The SCAR-L can even be quite accurate in automatic mode with a 4x scope on top, because to its relatively high bullet speed, Rapid firing rate, and better stability than other ARs.
This makes it very hazardous at medium ranges, and if used properly, it may help you win a round.
Bad
- It has the slowest bullet speed of the 5.56mm Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
- The SCAR L also has the lowest damage per second of any AR (thus the superior recoil).
With all of this in mind, locating all of the attachments might be time consuming, particularly if the blue circle isn’t helping.
Another interesting fact is that the SCAR-L has the lowest damage per second of all the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon which can cost you in close quarter combat if you’re up against an opponent with another faster AR.

Magazines – Quickdraw, Extended, and Extended Quickdraw

Compensator, Flash hider, and Suppressor Muzzle
Groza
The lightning quick Groza is a one-of-a-kind airdrop weapon that can only be found in care packages, therefore you won’t find it anyplace else.
It’s only right, since it’s a beast!
It has a 30 round capacity, utilizes 7.62mm bullets, and has three attachment points: the muzzle, sights, and magazine extensions, much like all the ARs in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
The PUBG Groza has both single and automated shooting modes, although you’ll primarily utilize the automatic mode since the single mode isn’t very good at longer ranges.
Good
- The Groza is a lightning-fast weapon with the quickest shot-to-shot time.
- A strong assault weapon for close-quarter fighting.
The best feature of the Groza is undoubtedly it’s super fast firing rate, which is faster than all the other Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
When you combine this with the fact that it does a lot of damage, this creature may be unstoppable in close quarters battle.
To keep the recoil under control, fire in short bursts. You’ll be able to strike your target more regularly as a result, and you’ll be able to win the battle.
Bad
- It’s a weapon that can only be used in crates.
- The Groza is a strong weapon with a significant amount of recoil.
- Unlike the other ARs, it is not a long-range weapon.
- A lot of 7.62 ammunition will be required.
Even while it has incredible speed and power, it becomes very unstable at larger distances, making a 4x scope unnecessary.
Another minor drawback is that it does not seem to be very accurate when fired from the hip, which may lead to the waste of valuable ammunition.
To feed the Groza, you’ll need a lot of bullets.
Attachments for Groza

Magazines – Quickdraw, Extended, and Extended Quickdraw
Suppressor – Muzzle
AUG A3
The AUG is an assault rifle that is almost identical to the M416 in virtually every way. The main difference is that the AUG A3 is a little more manageable. It has four attachment points and fires 5.56mm rounds, which have the same damage rating as all other 5.56mm rifles in PUBG.
In PUBG, where can you locate the AUG A3? Unfortunately, it’s an airdrop-only weapon, so you’ll have to battle for it if you truly want it.
Good
- Excellent for battle at medium ranges.
- Very comparable to the M416 in terms of handling.
Bad
- Reloading time is slow.
- In comparison to other ARs, the fire rate is slower.
- Long-range fights are ineffective.
- Only an airdrop weapon is available.

Have you tried PUBG yet? It’s no issue… It’s available here.
SMG’s
In PUBG, SMGs are best employed across shorter distances for a more close quarter fighting style of play, such as between buildings in a town.
They do less damage than ARs, but they have a faster rate of fire. If an adversary hasn’t had enough time to locate armor, you may simply outshoot them at the start of the game.
Because more players would have discovered an assault rifle or be more looted up with a set of armor later in the round, an SMG is more of a support weapon than a main weapon.
That said, there are a variety of PUBG loadout combinations that will best suit your play style and the conditions you will encounter.
UMP9
The UMP9 submachine gun are basically the bridge between the other SMG’s and the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon, for me it is the best PUBG SMG. It offers lower recoil than the assault rifle and have a better range than most of the SMG’s.
It’s a superb weapon for knocking out foes fast at close range, with a 30 round magazine filled with 9mm ammo (30-50m). There are three shooting modes on this weapon: single fire, burst mode, and full auto, all of which may be employed in various ways (most likely which works best for you).
It’s ideal for usage in metropolitan locations since it provides a little more breathing space in terms of magazine size. The Vector KRISS only holds 13 rounds to begin with, whereas the Micro Uzi has 25.
It features four attachment points (muzzle, sights, lower rail, and magazines) and three firing modes: single shot, burst (2 rounds per burst), and auto.
The UMP9, like the M416, may be considered a tactical weapon in the SMG category.
Good
- The UMP-9 in PUBG acts as a bridge between the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon and SMG’s.
- Over a medium distance, it has better recoil than rifles, giving the player more control.
- With the highest bullet speed of any SMG, the UMP-9 is best employed across short-medium ranges.
Despite having a slower rate of fire than the other SMGs, the UMP9 has the quickest starting bullet speed, allowing it to be used with scopes such as the 2x and 3x. However, in my view, it works best when combined with the Red Dot.
It’s a wonderful pistol to employ in villages between buildings and help teammates because of all the modifications available. Because your opponents aren’t too near, but also not too far away, you’ll be more adaptable.
Bad
- To use it to its greatest extent, you’ll need a lot of attachments.
- At ranges greater than 100 meters, the UMP-9’s damage isn’t very effective.
- In comparison to other SMGs, the increased damage points are offset by slower shots per second.
Despite all of the positive aspects, there are times when weapons do not work as expected.
Because the UMP-9 fires at a slower pace than other SMGs, you may absorb more damage if you’re in a close combat position. Although it serves as a bridge between SMGs and ARs, its low damage rating compared to ARs makes it ineffective at ranges greater than 100 meters.
You’ll need to locate all of the attachments for this weapon to realize its full capability, which might take a long time. It also depends on your landing location.
Attachments for the UMP-9
Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.

Vector KRISS
The Vector KRISS in PUBG is an interesting weapon and surely have a few special characteristics. The Vector KRISS only has a standard bullet capacity of 13 rounds, which are very low for a SMG, but can be equipped with an extended magazine to 25 rounds.
It takes 45ACP ammo, which does not spawn as often as 9mm ammunition, but this should not be an issue.
The Vector can accept five different attachments (muzzle, sights, lower rail, magazines, and stock) and features all three of the UMP9’s firing modes: single shot, burst (2 rounds per burst), and auto.
Good
- In PUBG, the Vector’s damage is fairly significant, especially when combined with the rapid shots per second.
- It’s great for fighting at close range.
- The Vector has very minimal recoil for its fast fire rate.
With its lightning rapid fire rate (second only to the Micro Uzi) and high damage rating (essentially the same as the UMP), this weapon is a beast that can take you down in the blink of an eye.
The Vector KRISS is a proper SMG which means it is best used in close quarter combat situations where you are in a good position.
While rushing enemy camped in structures, surprise your opponent or assist a squad member. It boasts outstanding stability and minimum recoil, making it more accurate, thanks to its Rapid firing rate.
Bad
- There are just 13 rounds in a normal magazine.
- Combat at a long range is severely restricted.
- You must strike your target on the first attempt!
With its rapid fire rate, you’d best be prepared to reload often and hope you’re hiding behind cover. The Vector can empty a normal magazine in less than a second in full-auto mode, and a 25 round magazine in about 1.4 seconds.
That was a snap!
It’s best not to use the Vector KRISS for long ranges, because it you will most likely fall short. Keep it under 50m to unleash it’s full potential and make sure you hit your target the first time!

Magazines – Quickdraw, Extended, and Extended Quickdraw
Vertical grip, Angled grip, Thumb grip, Light grip, and Half Grip are the rail/grips available.
Compensator, Flash hider, and Suppressor Muzzle
Tactical Stock is a kind of stock that is used for tactical purposes.
Micro Uzi
The Micro Uzi is the best weapon in Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds if you just want the quickest weapon. It utilizes 9mm ammunition and has a 25 round capacity with a regular magazine.
Because of its tiny size, it can only accept three modifications (a muzzle, a Micro Uzi stock, and magazines), but no sights. That is, unless you really need it.
The Micro Uzi has an auto shooting mode, but it also has a single shot option, which isn’t much use given the weapon’s limited damage output.
Good
- The Micro Uzi is the PUBG weapon with the quickest fire rate.
- It’s ideal for battle at close range.
- You’ll discover that ambushing or surprising an opponent when they’re looting works best in the early game.
The finest part about this weapon, as I previously said, is undoubtedly its Rapid firing rate of 0.048s between bullets.
The Micro Uzi is an excellent weapon to utilize early on to outgun opponents who are still looking for an assault rifle, or any gun for that matter. It isn’t as strong as shotguns, but its rate of fire allows it to deliver a lot of damage quickly at close range.
The greatest method to utilize it is in a surprise or ambush scenario, so your opponent has no idea what’s coming. You may utilize it while running through buildings or villages where being taken out from afar is more difficult.
Bad
- Over medium-long ranges, the PUBG Uzi becomes quite uncontrolled.
- There are no sights that can be attached to the Uzi.
- It is not advised for usage against fully armored opponents since the damage is usually insufficient.
The Micro Uzi is mainly a close-quarters fighting weapon, and at medium ranges, it may become rather unmanageable.
You don’t want to be trapped in an open field with just a Micro Uzi, so if you can, attempt to acquire a long-range weapon before moving.
Another thing to bear in mind is that, because to the reduced damage, it fails to take down foes wearing full armor. As a result, the Micro Uzi loses practically all of its value by the Conclusion of the game.

Uzi Stock is a kind of stock.
Tommy Gun
The Tommy Gun was among the airdrop care packages at the start of PUBG, however following the September 2017 update, it spawned across the map like all the other weapons.
It comes with a regular 30-round magazine to keep it in line with the majority of the other firearms. It fires.45ACP rounds and has three attachment points (muzzle, lower rail and magazines).
Because the Tommy Gun in PUBG doesn’t have any sights, it’s only good for close combat. Don’t be concerned; it has a lot of power and is really very enjoyable to use.
You’ll probably use it in full-auto mode, but it also features a single-shot option. The Tommy Gun is more of a show-stopper than a round-winning weapon.
Good
- It is PUBG’s most powerful SMG.
- It’s best employed in close quarters battle to rapidly dispatch the adversary, particularly early in the game or while playing between structures.
- You’ll have 50 rounds if you locate an extended magazine, which is a lot!
When the damage ratings of SMGs are compared, the Tommy Gun has the greatest damage rating. Because of its great stopping strength, it is best used in close quarter battle between structures.
Make careful to wipe out your opponent soon so they don’t retaliate with a more precise weapon. The magazine capacity is a fantastic advantage; with 50 rounds and excellent damage, it will be quite strong in the proper hands.
Bad
- Due to the lack of sight attachments, you won’t be able to utilize this weapon at ranges other than close combat.
- The Tommy Gun has a firing rate similar to Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon, which makes it slower than the other PUBG SMG’s.
- It also has the slowest bullet speed, resulting in lower damage per second.
As I previously said, you will not be able to connect any kind of sight to the Tommy Gun, making it very difficult to use at range.
Yes, it has the highest damage of all the SMG’s, but has a time between shots that are more in the range of the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon and a super slow initial bullet speed of only 280m/s.
Given that knowledge, an assault rifle would most likely be a superior option, assuming you can locate one.

Have you tried PUBG yet? It’s no issue… It’s available here.
Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers.
The ultimate damage dealers obviously goes to the Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers., like the AWM, M24 and Kar98.
These should be in your loadout if you wish to deliver damage at long distances with a PUBG weapon.
Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers. will most likely be complimented with an assault rifle or a SMG to give you the ability to play at shorter ranges as well. When playing in Squads or Duo, snipers are always a great benefit to provide cover and take out threats at long ranges.
The following is a comparison of each PUBG Sniper Rifle.
AWM
The roughest and meanest gun in the game, the gun of all PUBG firearms.
It’s the AWM Sniper Rifle, as you would have guessed. The AWM is PUBG’s finest sniper rifle, with the most damage of any weapon.
The AWM, which only comes in airdrops and utilizes its own special ammo, may solve certain concerns. That is, if you know how to utilize it properly.
It has a standard magazine capacity of 5.300 Magnum rounds, which can take down an adversary with a single headshot if they don’t wear a level 3 helmet.
Due to its bolt action reloading method, the PUBG AWM offers a single shot fire option. To make it even better, it comes with four attachment points (muzzle, magazines, stock, and sights).
Good
- The AWM is the most powerful weapon in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds; with one shot, you can kill an adversary.
- It’s great for long-range shooting and works well with scopes like the 6x, 8x, and 15x.
- Taking out targets in wide places, such as pastures or the desert in Miramar, is a blast.
In Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, the AWM is the most damaging weapon.
This sniper rifle is designed to attack targets swiftly across great distances with a fast bullet speed. The AWM is ideal at any distance that will not result in your death if you try to reload quickly.
Surprising your opponents when they are sprinting in an open space and picking them off from afar on a hill may be a pleasant sense. To take those very long shots, you can connect up to an x15 scope to it, but even an x8, 6x, or x4 scope will suffice.
You’ll be almost invincible if you can additionally attach a suppressor to the AWM. As a result, make every shot count.
Bad
- It has a tiny magazine and has bolt action, thus reloading is slow.
- The AWM’s use is severely restricted without a scope; it essentially lacks iron sights.
- The worst part about the AWM is that it’s owned by your adversary!
The sole disadvantage is that it’s best suited for long-range combat; if you don’t have the right sights, it’ll be ineffective at close range.
Reloading, while its enormous power, might be the one thing that slows you down when confronting an adversary at close range and finally kills you.
Furthermore, battling your way through and locating the AWM in the care box is merely the first task. Because it has no iron sights, you should locate a scope to go with it or have one in your bag.
I once swam a long way to an ocean airdrop only to discover an AWM with no scope. Even against a medium-range weapon like a UMP9, it was a significant disadvantage.
But the worst part about this weapon is that it belongs to your opponent!!!

M24
The M24 is also an airdrop weapon, coming in second only to the AWM in terms of damage.
It’s the AWM’s smaller sibling, with all the features you’d expect in a sniper rifle.
The 7.62mm ammunition used by the M24 Sniper Rifle has a round capacity of just 5. It’s also a bolt action sniper rifle with just a single shot mode that can accept up to four modifications (muzzle, magazines, stock, and sights).
Good
- In PUBG, the M24 serves as a link between the AWM and the Kar98k.
- When compared to other snipers, it has a faster reload with a quickdraw attachment, which may be a significant advantage.
- In closing circles, you’ll discover that the M24 is quite effective; it offers your opponent very little time to react if they’re shot.
With practically all of its attributes, this weapon lies between between the strong AWM and the iconic Kar98k Sniper Rifle.
This rifle, on the other hand, has a quicker reload time and a shorter time between rounds than its bolt action equivalents. As you undoubtedly already know, time is essential in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Because of its immense power and bullet speed, the M24 is best employed at long ranges and may be a game changer in the last few rings. Because of the damage given, it’s fantastic to strike an adversary and then take them out with another weapon.
Bad
- The M24 has a very bright muzzle flash, making it easy to notice.
- It also lacks true iron sights, unlike the AWM.
- It’s a pretty popular PUBG gun, so expect a lot of players to line up at the drop to attempt to snag it.
Unlike the other sniper rifles in PUBG, the M24 produces a large light when shot, making your location more obvious. So, unless you get a flash hider or suppressor for this gun, you’ll have to take strategic shots rather than firing whenever you see someone.
It’s also not very useful in 3rd person at close range if you’re taken off guard, and it lacks actual iron sights like the AWM. That’s because, after all, it’s a sniper rifle, not an AR!
Because it is a fantastic sniper weapon to play with, you should be prepared to battle for it during the air drops. Make sure you go for it when the drop is near and you can get in and out swiftly. You could just come upon the M24.

Kar98k
If you can master it, the charming old vintage Kar98k is a fantastic weapon.
It comes with a bolt action style and can take 5 bullets and cannot take any magazine attachments. The Kar98k in PUBG uses the 7.62mm ammunition, the same as most of the higher damage snipers and Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
Due to its age, it can only accept three attachments, which are the essentials (muzzle, stock for the Kar98k bullet loops or cheek pad and sights).
Good
- The Kar98k is the world’s only genuine sniper that spawns in-game.
- It’s a long-range weapon with a lot of power.
- When you’re under decent cover, the Kar98k works best against targets in open locations.
The Kar98k is the game’s sole actual sniper rifle, and it can be quite powerful in the proper hands.
Most players who utilize it have an edge since they do not have to loot an airdrop and it is particularly effective from long range. If you can get a suppressor for this weapon, you’ll have a huge edge while taking down enemies sprinting over wide fields.
Bad
- Like most Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers. it has a bolt action makes it slow, to fire and reload
- Against fully armored adversaries, the Kar98k falls short.
- Getting acquainted to the PUBG Kar98k takes some time and practice.
Because the Kar98 is a bolt action rifle and does not have a magazine like the other weapons, reloading may take a long time.
This weapon will take some getting accustomed to in order to properly exploit its capabilities, so you’ll need a lot of practice to get the most out of it.
Keep in mind that the Kar98k is not as powerful as the other Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers. against fully armored opponents. So it can take a few shots to eliminate your enemy if they have like level 2 armor and are quite at a distance. Going for head shots will be your best bet.
Overall, the Kar98k is a fun weapon to play with, and getting a kill with it is really fulfilling.

The VSS is a unique weapon that resembles a sniper rifle but has an automated fire mode. Isn’t it strange?
You’ll only utilize auto mode if you’re forced to, such as when you don’t have time to aim or while fighting at close range.
It employs the same 9mm ammo as various pistols and SMGs and only holds 10 shots in a normal magazine. Given that it already has an x4 scope on top and a suppressor, the VSS only has two connection points (stock and magazines).
Good
- The PUBG VSS is a sniper rifle with a scope and suppressor that is ready to use.
- It works well at a modest range.
- It may be difficult to detect a VSS at close ranges due to its subsonic suppressor, which is ideal for use in the end circles.
One of the nicest aspects about this weapon is that you don’t have to loot to get the most crucial attachments, which saves you time.
Due to its low bullet speed, the VSS is best used at middle and even shorter ranges. Using this rifle in the final game may make a major impact due to its medium range capabilities and very quiet suppressor.
Even at close range, the VSS is difficult to hear, so if you have a good place near the end circles, you may take advantage of this.
It’s useful to have that sneaky option in a squad or pair to constantly surprise your adversary from an unexpected place.
Bad
- Due to its moderate bullet speed, the VSS struggles to target moving adversaries at long range.
- Surprisingly, despite its modest power, it has the lowest game stability of all the snipers.
- With the VSS, you won’t have a lot of options.
When you attempt to utilize this weapon as a regular sniper, targeting adversaries over greater distances, it becomes a liability.
When it comes to long range, the VSS is terrible, particularly if you’re attempting to strike a moving target.
It has poor steadiness when compared to other guns, owing to the suppressor’s efforts to keep your bullets silent. When you come across this rifle, you’ll constantly consider abandoning it since it’s a tough weapon to wield.
The major reason to abandon the VSS is because it lacks a wide range of capabilities, therefore it’s best employed for what it was designed for: medium range stealth.

Model 1894 Winchester
An old school rifle with a mean punch, the Model 1894 Winchester. The Winchester is using the .45mm rounds and is only available on the Miramar map in PUBG. It’s a good weapon in terms of performance, especially in the early stages of a round, but has no attachments points for scopes which makes it kind of useless.
If possible, employ this weapon at medium range and close to cover, such as houses, boulders, or ruins. It will be tough to utilize Miramar for long range because to the open regions. Well, it could just come in handy a couple times, so give it a go!
Good
- Rifle with plenty of punch
- At medium range, it’s fantastic.
Bad
- Despite being categorized as a rifle, there is no sight attachment.
- Miramar is the only place where you can get it.

Have you tried PUBG yet? It’s no issue… It’s available here.
DMRs (Designated Marksman Rifles) are rifles that are designated to be used by designated marksmen.
Just like the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon are between snipers and SMG’s, the DMR’s are basically between the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon and Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers..
They shoot at a faster pace than snipers and have a longer range than ARs, although they have a lower ammunition capacity. The majority of DMR weapons may be considerably enhanced in order to make them even more lethal against opponents.
Some DMR Rifles can be hard to master if you are new to the game, mainly because they are designed for a more specific purpose and not being an all-round weapon like the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
Both sniper and AR attachments may now be attached to DMR rifles thanks to recent upgrades. This is fantastic since you now have double the chance of receiving a completely customized weapon than before. That is precisely how the DMRs should be utilized, with some modifications!
SKS (DMR)
The SKS, or Designated Marksman Rifle, is a DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle). It uses 7.62mm ammo and has a basic bullet capacity of just 10 rounds.
It spawns across the Player Unknown’s Battleground area and is highly configurable, with a total of 5 attachments available (sights, muzzle, stock, lower rail and mags).
The SKS in PUBG is a weapon to get used to, mainly because it’s between an AR and a Sniper Rifle. It only has a semi-auto firing mode, which means it has a faster firing rate than the snipers, but slower compared to the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon.
Good
- The SKS is ideally suited for medium-range fighting but may also be used in close combat.
- DMR’s are between assault and Sniper Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used by snipers..
- If you can acquire possession of the SKS, it has a long range, heavy damage, and fast fire rate, which is a wonderful combo.
Using the SKS for medium to long range scenarios is the greatest approach to fully unlock its potential. Perfect for supporting a teammate who is attempting to flank and kill your adversary when they are pinned down.
Don’t get me wrong: if you can fire quickly enough before your opponent gets a chance, you can utilize it at close range as well.
What makes the SKS rifle unique is that it has decent range combined with a higher firing rate and more stability than most of the Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon. The SKS can be a great addition to the diversity when playing squads or duo.
As a result, it may be highly hazardous in the wrong hands.
Bad
- At really long distances, the SKS isn’t as good. If you keep missing your target, you’ll waste more bullets.
- It’s difficult to shoot while moving, so you’ll need to stay motionless to obtain the finest results.
- The SKS is not a weapon with a wide range of capabilities.
Being between the sniper and Assault Rifles are rifles that are designed to be used as a weapon, using the SKS over very long distance will most of the time be a waste of bullets.
Another disadvantage of this weapon, and of any DMR rifle in general, is that you must remain motionless to be precise. That’s an issue if you don’t have enough cover to deter your opponents from taking you down more quickly, but keep that in mind if you’re up against someone who has an SKS.
The SKS is a fantastic weapon in and of itself, but it lacks in the diversity of uses department. With that stated, you should consider how you want to utilize it.

MK14 is a video game that was released in 2014. (EBR)
The MK14 is an airdrop weapon that is classified as a DMR but is really an EBR, or Enhanced Battle Rifle.
It’s the SKS in a more extreme form. It fires 7.62mm ammo and has a 10-round bullet capacity, allowing it to do a lot of damage. To bring the MK14 to its maximum potential, it has four attachment points (sights, muzzle, stock, and magazines).
It’s worth noting that the MK14 has both semi-automatic and full-auto shooting modes, making it more adaptable than the SKS, which is why you should battle for it during airdrops.
Good
- When prone, the MK14 is a mid-power rifle with greater stability when using a tripod.
- It includes a full auto mode, which may be quite useful in close combat.
- The MK14 is suited for medium-long range shooting.
With the MK14, you get the best of both worlds, making it very deadly in full-auto due to its high damage and long range capabilities.
A tripod pulls out as you go prone, making the rifle more steady for long range shots. The MK14 is best used for medium to long range targets that need to be taken down rapidly.
In comparison to other rifles, the damage per second on this weapon is crazy, at least until you get to the 10 shots (20 with an extended magazine).
Bad
- You only have a basic magazine with ten bullets.
- At the drop, you’ll have to battle for it.
- If you get caught up in one of them, you’ll be torn apart.
Which takes me to one of the MK14’s minor flaws.
It comes with a 10-round magazine, which can be emptied in less than a second. It’s also worth noting that it has a lot of recoil, making it more difficult to manage. When you’re fighting at close quarters, you’ll have to strike your target the first time.
It’s bad enough that you have to battle for the MK14 during airdrops, but you also don’t want to be caught off guard with someone utilizing this weapon.
Simply seek cover and make strategic plans to avoid giving away your location, particularly in the middle ranges.

Mini-14
The Mini 14 is a DMR that utilizes 5.56mm ammunition. It only has three attachment points and is an excellent long-range weapon, particularly for novices or newcomers to PUBG. You’ll also get a normal magazine with 20 rounds, which can be expanded to 30 with an extended magazine.
That is excellent in comparison to the other DMR weapons, but it has the lowest damage, so make your shots count. Not only does the Mini 14 have a large magazine, but it also has a very fast bullet speed, making it simpler to shoot targets from a distance. The Mini 14 may be a lot of fun to play with in PUBG.
Good
- The fastest bullet speed, making it ideal for long-range use.
- Even at closer distances, the handling is excellent for novices.
- Size of a large magazine
Bad
- When compared to other DMRs, this one does not do as much damage.
- There are just three attachment places.

SLR
The SLR is a DMR that utilizes the same 7.62mm ammunition as the SKS and is a relatively recent PUBG weapon. With significant recoil and long range shots, this rifle, like other DMRs, takes some getting accustomed to. However, once you learn the SLR, it is an excellent weapon to employ in PUBG.
It has the greatest damage rating of all the spawnable DMR weapons in PUBG, with four attachment slots. There are now a few weapons to chose from that are suitable for your playstyle. You may find that the SLR is ideal for you.
Good
- The most powerful DMR that spawns
- Identical as the MK14
- It’s best to utilize it across a medium to long distance.
Bad
- There are no grips, thus there is greater recoil.
- If you’re new to the game, it’ll be more difficult to utilize.

LMG stands for Light Machine Guns.
At the present, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has just two LMG weaponry, but we expect to see more in the future. Due to their somewhat high damage, quick shooting rate, and massive bullet capacity, these guns are absolute monsters. If you have enough ammunition, the best thing to do with these weapons is to swiftly demolish cars.
M249
The M249 is one of only two Light Machine Guns in the game thus far, so raid an airdrop if you want one! This weapon is ridiculous, owing to the fact that it can hold 100 bullets.
On the other side, it utilizes 5.56mm ammunition, which is the more plentiful of the two bigger cartridges.
The M249 features a full-auto firing mode and only has one attachment place for sights on the top. This is to be anticipated with firearms of this sort.
Good
- The M249 features a 100-round magazine and is very strong, with a rapid bullet speed and short time between shots.
- It’s ideal for swiftly damaging cars.
- When shooting from a prone position with the tripod, it’s surprisingly decent at greater ranges.
The M249’s strongest feature is definitely the quantity of damage it can inflict. It does a bit less damage than an AKM, but it has an extremely fast bullet speed of 915m/s and a 0.075 second interval between firing. When you multiply it by 100, you receive a lot of damage for a few people.
When playing with this weapon, it has a manageable recoil, which is surprising given its strength. Just remember not to go crazy while trying to strike someone at medium range; it’s preferable to fire in bursts rather than holding the trigger down.
Surprisingly, the M249 includes a tripod that deploys when you lie down to provide additional stability across extended distances.
Bad
- You should shoot in bursts rather than full-auto at greater ranges.
- At the drop, you’ll have to battle for it.
- Don’t get caught up in one of these, particularly if you’re out in the open!
Consider this for a moment. Yes, the AWM has the greatest damage rating in the game, but you’ll only endure 5 bullets if you’re fortunate enough to miss all of the shots.
A vast open space is the worst location you want to be caught against an M249 since you’ll be facing a 1 shot every 0.075s with 100 rounds to go.
All I have to say is best of luck!
Attachments for M249
Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.
DP-28
The DP-28 is PUBG’s second LMG weapon, and it spawns on the map as well. Because it is a Russian weapon, it is only available to Erangel. The DP-28 has a lot of recoil and might be difficult to master when you first receive it, but it has a good damage rating and a huge magazine.
It has a capacity of 47 bullets, is automatic only, has one attachment point, and fires 7.62mm rounds. If an attacker is near, don’t reload after shooting 1 or 2 bullets since the reload time is quite lengthy. It’s an excellent weapon to use in the beginning until you can locate a replacement or secondary weapon, such as an Assault Rifle or Sniper.
Good
- M249’s damage is higher than the M249’s.
- With a capacity of 47 bullets, it’s a big gun.
- Good at medium range and in the early stages of the game.
Bad
- Recoil is rather high.
- Reload times are quite long.
Attachments for the DP-28
Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.

Shotguns
S12K
The S12K is a formidable close-combat weapon that excels at wiping out structures.
The weapon comes with a 5-round bullet magazine and fires 12 gauge ammo. It only has a semi-auto shot firing mode and three attachment points (sights, muzzle, and magazines).
The S12k has faster reload rates than other shotguns, making it more effective against several adversaries.
Good
- At close range, it’s quite effective, particularly if you’re up against many opponents.
- In comparison to other shotguns, it has a much faster reload time.
Attachments for the SK12
Holographic, red dot, 2x, 3x, 4x, and 6x sights are available.

S1897
The S1897 shotgun likewise has a 5-round bullet capacity and utilizes the same 12 Gauge as the rest of the shotguns. Only two attachments are allowed: bullet loops on the stock and a muzzle choke.
This PUBG weapon is best employed at close range and can knock down an opponent with a single shot if they aren’t armored. If you play Solo or have a Squad assisting you with another gun, the S1897 is an excellent weapon for clearing structures.
Good
- At close range, it’s really strong, and it’s fantastic for knocking out structures, however it only hits the first time.
- With the choke, it’s also useful for shots that are a bit farther away than close combat.

S686
The bullet capacity of the S686 shotgun is just two rounds, and it utilizes the same 12 Gauge as the rest of the shotguns.
Only two attachments are allowed: bullet loops on the stock and a muzzle choke. It’s a powerful shotgun that can swiftly dispatch an attacker at close range. When playing Solo, this is the best way to surprise a target, particularly if you fire both shots.
You’d best hit your target the first time, because if you don’t, you’ll almost certainly die while trying to reload.
Good
- At close range, this weapon is quite effective, particularly if you strike your opponent with both bullets.
- Solo play is best employed against a single opponent.
Attachments (S686)

Shotgun that’s been sawed off
- At close range, it’s deadly.
- Rapid firing rate
- There are just two bullets.
- Only works at close ranges, such as in buildings.
Pistols
The pistols are primarily a weapon for killing the initial few foes, and are useful immediately after landing, but are ineffective in the mid-late round.
The Crossbow is a weapon used in archery.
I suppose the bow is a unique weapon, and most people would never consider leaving it on the ground. Don’t worry, I’m not worried either, however here’s an excellent video instruction from Drift0r if you really want to learn everything about the bow.

Conclusion
That concludes the discussion.
This is a useful PUBG Weapon Guide that will help you make smarter judgments in the Battlegrounds and get that Chicken Dinner.
I went through all of the weapons, explaining what they’re useful for and when you shouldn’t use them.
Because there are so many various methods to play PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, everything discussed in this tutorial is not the sole correct way to approach the game.
