The Tropico series may be precisely what you’re searching for if you’re seeking for a lighthearted city-building game.
Tropico 6 is a new city-building and management game in the Tropico series, including a number of new features.
You are “El Presidente,” the mayor of your own little island, and you must establish a society from the bottom up, manage resources, politics, and commerce, among other things.

In the spring and summer, for example, you must cultivate food and collect wood in order to construct dwellings and have adequate fuel.
People will die if they are not warmed by fire in the autumn and winter, and they will hunger if they run out of food. Before you can really develop a major town, you must first grasp and conquer a few complicated processes in the game, but it is well worth the time.
Banished is a fantastic game to play if you want a good challenge and want to create your own tiny colony.

5. Getting By on Mars
Surviving Mars is a hard builder from the same publisher as Cities Skylines.
It is more focused on colony construction and survival in various environments than your typical city builder. Your goal is to establish a long-term colony on Mars while overcoming the obstacles you’ll face.
Being on Mars has a lot of implications for the way you develop your city, which is a lot of fun once you figure out what has to happen.
Surviving Mars is a game with a lot of fun gameplay, tough locations, and plenty of customization options.

Aven Colony is a PC, Xbox, and Playstation city-building game. You’ve arrived on Aven Prime, a distant alien world many light years from Earth, where you must establish a new human colony while surviving the harsh environment.
Aven Colony, like many other city-building games, presents you with a variety of problems to face, including resource management, environmental conditions, and aliens themselves. It might be a difficult game at first, but after you figure out how to balance everything, it can be a lot of fun.
To keep your people alive, you’ll need to harvest resources, build fortifications, and conduct research to tackle some of the obstacles you’ll encounter. The sun may be beaming one minute and a massive sandstorm may be approaching to blow everything away the next.
Aliens may assault your colony in a number of ways, including disease spores, hovering guards, and cultist airships. You may protect yourself against assaults by constructing defensive structures and doing research to strengthen them.
With all of this going on, you’ll also have to deal with and balance the morale of your colony’s citizens, who will conduct elections and have the power to vote you out if you don’t meet their requirements. Crime, food availability, housing conditions, social policies, and other factors may all be considered.
You may also divide your colony into sub-colonies to increase your population. That’s a whole different difficulty in and of itself.

Life is Feudal: Forest Village is quite similar to Banished, which I previously mentioned, but with a few more sophisticated features such as administration systems and graphics improvements.
The goal is to start from scratch with only a few peasants, collecting, harvesting, mining, and a variety of other activities.
The story is set in a realistic medieval society with starvation, sickness, and brutal winters. The game has a dynamic ecology with changeable weather, as well as a randomly generated landscape that provides you with a unique experience for each town you establish.
Do you have what it takes to establish your own medieval settlement? Life is Feudal is a nice game to unwind and not take things too seriously.
